As we rely more heavily on digital devices for day-to-day operations, data breaches will become increasingly common. With cybercrime on the rise, the need for cybersecurity professionals continues to grow.
In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts employment among information security analysts will grow by over 30% over the next decade. That rate far exceeds that expected for other professions.
After completing both the A+ 220-1001 and 220-1002 CompTIA exams, recipients may pursue the CompTIA Cybersecurity Career Pathway. This program will instill within students the network security skills needed to protect organizations from cyberattacks and threats.
Individuals will be prepared for intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs as IT auditors, systems administrators, network administrators, and security administrators.
