The Live Your Dream Awards, presented by Soroptimist International, are designed to assist women who are the primary financial providers for their families. These awards offer financial support to help women improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.
Each year, Soroptimist distributes more than $2 million in education grants to over 1,700 women worldwide. The awards are available in three levels, with the potential to receive up to $16,000 to help offset tuition costs, purchase books, obtain transportation, or find reliable childcare.
Eligibility Criteria:
Primary Financial Support: Applicants must be the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents.
Financial Need: Demonstrated financial need is required.
Educational Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to a vocational or undergraduate degree program.
Residency: Applicants must reside in one of Soroptimist International of the Americas’ member countries or territories.
Degree Limitations: Applicants must not possess a graduate degree.
Application Process:
Application Period: Applications are accepted between August 1 and November 15 each year.
Application Components: Applicants need to detail their role as the primary financial provider, financial need, educational enrollment, motivation, residency, and confirm the absence of a graduate degree and Soroptimist affiliation.
