The Holistic Health Practitioner Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of holistic health principles and practices. Students will learn various holistic modalities, including energy healing, bodywork, herbal medicine, and nutrition, to promote overall wellbeing and support clients on their holistic health journeys. The program offers a well-rounded education in holistic health, allowing students to choose their specialization based on their interests and career goals. It equips them with the knowledge and skills to promote holistic wellbeing and support clients on their holistic health journeys.

Holistic Health Practitioner Program Course List
All courses are 100 clock hours, and our Holistic Health Program is a total of 1180 hours. After completion of our 630-hour Professional Massage Therapy program that exceeds the 500 minimum hours required to apply for a professional license from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC), you will complete an additional 550 hours.
The Holistic Health Practitioner courses include all the Professional Massage Therapist courses and an additional study in the areas of:

HEA 102 dives into the profound domain of Advanced Holistic Health and Healing Practices, extending a comprehensive exploration into the intricate realms of aromatherapy, herbalism, and Reiki, layered upon a foundational understanding of holistic health principles. This course, structured over a span of 5 weeks and comprising 90 meticulous hours, melds theoretical comprehension with practical expertise, shaping a learning environment that bridges knowledge and application.
Through a blend of online learning and in-person lab sessions, students will be immersed in an educational journey that spirals through the philosophy and practicality of holistic health. This includes delving into the spiritual and emotional aspects of well-being, understanding and formulating aromatic blends, exploring the medicinal world of herbs, and harmonizing energies through the art and science of Reiki.
EMM 102 provides an immersive exploration into the realm of energy therapies, with a primary focus on Reiki up to Level II and a foundational understanding of energy medicine. Across a 5-week, 90-hour hybrid course, students will delve into the intrinsic world of chakras, energy flow, and Reiki healing while also exploring energy medicine’s broader applications. Balancing theory and practice, the course ensures students can apply energetic principles and Reiki techniques in various contexts, adhering to ethical and safe practices.
This 90-hour course offers an in-depth exploration of Shiatsu, emphasizing its foundational principles, therapeutic techniques, and integrative practices. Students will immerse themselves in both the theory and hands-on application of Shiatsu, gaining the skills necessary to provide effective treatments and integrate Shiatsu into their holistic health practices.
The WMM 102 course is an immersive exploration into Advanced Western Modalities with a distinct focus on honing skills and knowledge in Reflexology, Seated Massage, and Pregnancy Massage. This hybrid program, spanning over 5 weeks with a total of 90 clock hours (18 hours per week), is meticulously structured to blend theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that students are adeptly prepared to employ various modalities in a professional setting upon completion.
This 90-hour course offers an in-depth exploration of advanced bodywork techniques, including deep tissue massage, therapeutic stretching, and myofascial release. Students will gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge to integrate these modalities into their practice, ensuring effective treatment for various musculoskeletal conditions.

This course explores advanced topics in nutrition within the context of holistic wellness. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how nutrition impacts physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. The course emphasizes personalized dietary strategies and mind body connections.
This course focuses on sports nutrition from a holistic perspective. Students will gain advanced knowledge in fueling athletes for peak performance while considering their overall wellbeing. The course covers dietary strategies, recovery techniques, and mental aspects of sports nutrition.
This course is a dynamic capstone course designed to empower students with a profound understanding of holistic health and wellness, building upon the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their professional massage program. This course goes beyond traditional massage therapy and delves into the expansive world of holistic wellbeing. It also places a significant emphasis on business and entrepreneurship to equip students for self employment opportunities in the holistic health industry.
CAMTC
Along with the Certificate of Completion that students receive from ICOHS College, graduates are qualified to apply for a License from the California Massage Therapy Counsil (CAMTC), which legally allows them to practice massage in California.
CALIFORNIA CERTIFICATIONS Along with the Certificate of Completion that students receive from ICOHS College, graduates are qualified to apply for a License from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC), which legally allows them to practice massage in California.
ICOHS College supports all graduates throughout the process of obtaining licensure, reimburses the $200 application fee, and equips them with the necessary skill to excel as massage therapists and Holistic Health Practitioners.
Typical Weekly Program Schedule
The Course Schedule is subject to availability. ICOHS College is a Clock Hour school, and the ability to complete the program is based heavily on attendance. Courses are currently on-campus, and students are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of course hours to pass each class and graduate.
